Starting a New Project

Sometimes, motivating yourself to get going is the hardest thing about starting a project. For me going to the point of no returning pushed me me to begin.

"You can look at any project as a work; think it's fun. The trick is to know your limits, but remember to give yourself some credid! You can do a  lot more than you think."

Always do some research from books and demostrations, then use your brain and your hands. :) Above all be proud of all your efforts.

Finding the Perfect Piece to Decorate

I like to invest in some pieces, that are beautiful and versatile.

And I want to share one of them with you!

I love the products from Willow House. And at Heather's Wedding, we use the "Vintage Spiral Stand" to display their engagement pictures at the table where the guests left their wishes to the Bride and Groom.

It was perfect for the occasion...

This courtesy pictures are from Ashley Stone Photography.

And I am not affiliated with Willow House, I just love their products.

Votive Flower Holder - Centerpiece

This was a table centerpiece for an Outdoor Wedding.

Materials:

Votive glass holder,
Silk Flower to match your colors, in this case I have a yellow flower.
glue gun.

How to:

Take the flower apart, and start gluing from the bottom layers up, them glue it to bottom of the glass votive holder, play with as you like.
It's a simple project with an out stand result.
In the past on I have done with red roses and it was so pretty.

For this rustic look, I also cut a circle of burlap and wrapped in a cone shape to add a little more detail.

have fun creating....
